It is through our Essentials Community Outreach Programs that we are able to provide much-needed items to benefit families and individuals throughout the state. All donations collected will be distributed to our nonprofit partners that focus on alleviating poverty and ending homelessness. Together, we can provide hope and restore dignity for those that need it most.
Essentials Distributed to the Community
Essentials Diaper Drive
A collection drive to collect diapers, wipes and formula for homeless infants and toddlers. HomeAid collects and distributes items to family shelters across the state. The drive is held annually from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, providing a great opportunity to help homeless mothers, fathers, and their babies.
Between October 1st and November 10th, HomeAid collects essential items which will be assembled into CareKits. All assembled kits will be distributed to local nonprofit organizations serving homeless individuals and families during the week of November 16 -24th, in conjunction with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Some of these organizations operate facilities built in partnership with HomeAid Colorado.
