HomeAid Essentials CareKit Drive

Between October 1st and November 10th, HomeAid collects essential items which will be assembled into CareKits. All assembled CareKits will be distributed to local nonprofit organizations serving homeless individuals and families during the week of November 16 -24th, in conjunction with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Some of these organizations operate facilities built in partnership with HomeAid Colorado.

Ways To Help


Give a little to make a big impact.
$25 Socks are the most requested item in homeless shelters, and $25 provides 8 pairs of socks for those in need.
$50 – Provides a one-year supply of feminine hygiene products to an individual.
$100 – Directly benefits 10 people experiencing homelessness, by providing each person with a CareKit.

Volunteers are needed to collect wish list items, assemble CareKits, pick-up donations and deliver CareKits to shelters in the Denver-Metro area. Sign up to volunteer as a group or individual.
